What technologies does eMuDIS use?
eMuDIS uses PHP to implement the web front end, PostgreSQL 7.3 for the backend database, and Mailman to manage the list server. The system is designed to be used in conjunction with the Apache webserver running on Red Hat Linux.
What do I need to install it?
Any Linux based server should work. We used a Red Hat Linux server, but you should be able to set everything up on any Linux server. As for software, eMuDIS makes use of Apache (with PHP), PostgreSQL (7.3), and Mailman.
How much does it cost?
Absolutely nothing. All we ask is that you abide by the terms of the GNU GPL.
